Fictional Magazine cover

In my digital illustration class, I was tasked with making a cover for a fictional magazine about San Francisco based on The New Yorker. I chose to express some of my humor with the composition, showing an archeologist studing human escrament on the side of a popular intersection in San Fransisco. I contrasted the human poop with the pretty and detailed scene to have an indirect effect that adds to the humor.
